Michael Phelps Sponers

Michael Phelps one of the best Olympic swimmers ever, won eight gold medals at Beijing and 14 total gold medals. His main sponsors were Kellogg's and Speedo. One day at a college party there was a picture taken of Phelps smoking marijuana he lost Kellogg's and some other smaller endorsements. Kellogg's is a cereal company that are for kids and they dropped him as soon as the story hit the press. Kellogg's do not want someone that kids are surprise to look up as a hero or grow up to be like on their cereal if he's doing drugs or something wrong. If they would have kept Phelps makes it look bad on them and parents would not buy their cereal because of Phelps. Speedo kept their endorsements with Phelps because its not base on children and are more of a adult item. After everything went away speedo will still make more having Phelps then not having him and some no name swimmer.
